Is it possible to combine a large-scale event organization with green initiatives? Every year, this is a challenge Festibière tackles with its team. The Je bois local Initiative’s goal is to choose greener options in order to offer the most responsible and sustainable events possible.

Here are the different actions taken with sustainable developement in mind, such as environmental measures, community outreach, and awareness campaings.

Sustainable Development Policy

Basic principles and goals of sustainable development

Reduce the environmental impact of our events

  4. Responsible Supply of Resources

In other words : Our team will prioritize more sustainable transportation methods, a strategic and responsible waste management system as well as reusing or repurposing for a more responsible use and supply of resources with our local partners.

Be a part of our community

  1. Community Involvement
  2. Support of Community Projects
  3. Development of Economic Partnerships

In other words : Festibière invests locally by producing a positive impact on our communities, giving back to the community, supporting local organisations, and prioritising local parties.

Training and involvement of all parties

  1. Setting up communication channels and tools
  2. Accountability of all parties involved

In other words : Our main goal is to raise awareness within our clientele, our exhibitors, and our partners on the importance of long-term planning regarding sustainable development and event initiatives.
